Paul Johnson
Paul Johnson brings more than 20 years of wide ranging legal experience to the firm. His experience includes personal injury matters, products liability, construction disputes, and all sorts of complex civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and frequently handles cases in all of these states.
One focus of Attorney Johnson's practice is insurance coverage litigation. Insurance companies frequently deny meritorious claims, claiming that coverage is excluded by the language of the insurance policy itself. Ballin and Associates will take on the insurance companies and litigate these coverage issues, forcing the insurers to pay when the policies they issue provide coverage for legitimate claims. The majority of Attorney Johnson's insurance coverage litigation involves personal injury claims, but he also handles insurance coverage matters relating to property damage claims, such as fires and floods, and commercial insurance disputes arising out of commercial general liability claims, professional liability claims, and other types of business insurance. Taking on the insurance companies requires creativity, diligence, experience, and a willingness to take cases that other lawyers may not be willing or able to handle. Attorney Johnson brings these skills and abilities to every case that he handles, whether large or small, and has achieved a remarkable level of success for his clients.
Attorney Johnson is an honors graduate of Dartmouth College, and received his law degree in 1985 from the University of Virginia School of Law. Attorney Johnson was born and raised in Westwood, Massachusetts, in a home less than a mile from the Ballin and Associates offices.
